Abstract

This article aims to analyze Law as a social phenomenon in constant evolution, highlighting its direct relationship with the human, technological, and institutional transformations that define contemporary society. The research, qualitative in nature and exploratory in character, was conducted through a bibliographic analysis based on legal doctrines, normative texts, and sociological studies addressing the interaction between Law and society. The results indicated that the Brazilian legal system has gradually adapted to social changes, especially regarding the protection of personal data and the role of jurisprudence as a living source of Law. It was verified that the effectiveness of legal norms depends on the ability of the State and its institutions to respond to new social demands with balance, security, and continuous adaptation. It is concluded that the harmony between Sociology and Law is essential for strengthening citizenship, maintaining order, and consolidating social justice, reaffirming Law as an indispensable component of humanity.
