Abstract

This study aims to report on a didactic-pedagogical experience whose objective was to understand the multiple forms of cultural constitution present in the processes of negotiation and conflict between different groups throughout history. The work was developed from the articulating axis Nature and Society, using as a reference the skills and competences of the National Common Curricular Base (BNCC), especially those that involve recognizing territorial conflicts, problematizing them in their past, present and future dimensions; analyzing experiences as phenomena susceptible to transformation; and using different languages in the interpretation of historical and geographical events. As a methodology, the film "Vermelho Brasil" (2014) was used, applied in class to students of the Gisélio da Nóbrega Municipal School. The work, based on the skills and competences of the National Common Curricular Base, was fully achieved, since, in addition to watching the film, the students carried out analyses, established relationships with the content studied and produced interpretive texts related to the theme.
