The present work aims to understand the dynamics between collaborative learning, collaborative tools, motivation and Groupware in an educational context, so that it is possible to understand the relationships and benefits that exist between these four concepts. There are several tools available on the internet that can support collaborative work, however it is important for the teacher to understand the motivational factors that make students contribute to this learning cycle, consolidating themselves into collaborative work groups, defined as Groupware, which has access to what is being produced, so that it can be shared among interested parties, as well as updated due to new learning scenarios. In this way, qualitative bibliographical research was used, which, according to the content studied and exposed, refers to the understanding and classification of dynamic processes in the order in which they are experienced by the groups. In the end, it was concluded that the teacher is responsible for correctly discerning collaborative tools and motivational factors so that there is a gain in the educational process and thus collaborative learning occurs, later consolidating itself in Groupware.
