This theoretical-reflective study analyzes the use of therapeutic chatbots based on artificial intelligence (AI) as instruments for psychopedagogical support and digital harm reduction aimed at the autistic community. The research, based on a narrative literature review (2020–2025) in the SciELO, PubMed, Web of Science, and Google Scholar databases, identified evidence of the potential of chatbots in the emotional and communicational mediation of people with Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD). The results point to the need for good ethical practices, accessible design, and compliance with the LGPD (Brazilian General Data Protection Law), as well as the integration between intellectual property, ethics, and digital inclusion. It concludes that AI, when combined with neuropsychopedagogy and embedded ethics, can promote inclusive, safe, and personalized interventions, reinforcing responsible social innovation.
