SINTOMAS PSICÓTICOS APÓS A VIVÊNCIA DE UM TRAUMA COMPLEXO: RELATO DE CASO E REVISÃO NARRATIVA ACERCA DO TEMA

A vivência de traumas complexos representa um desafio significativo à saúde mental, com potencial de desencadear transtornos severos e duradouros. Em muitos casos, essas experiências traumáticas são capazes de precipitar sintomas psicóticos que comprometem profundamente a funcionalidade e a qualidade de vida dos indivíduos afetados. Neste relato, descreve-se o caso clínico de uma paciente do sexo feminino, que após permanecer em cativeiro por dois anos e ter sido submetida a diferentes formas de violência — física, sexual e psicológica — desenvolveu manifestações psicóticas, incluindo alucinações auditivas, visuais e olfativas, bem como delírios persecutórios. Além disso, observou-se uma deterioração significativa em sua funcionalidade cotidiana e nas relações interpessoais. Essa condição evidenciou a possível interconexão entre o trauma extremo, o Transtorno de Estresse Pós-Traumático Complexo (TEPT-C) e transtornos psicóticos. O presente relato reforça a importância de abordagens terapêuticas integradas e do acompanhamento contínuo por equipes multiprofissionais especializadas para viabilizar a reabilitação psicossocial e emocional desses pacientes.
