INNOVACIONES PARA LA GESTIÓN DE LA SALUD MENTAL

Este artículo analiza la telemedicina y la telesalud como herramientas esenciales para la gestión de la salud mental en ciudades inteligentes. El objetivo es explorar innovaciones, desafíos y casos de éxito a nivel mundial, destacando la relevancia de estas tecnologías para mejorar el acceso y la calidad de la atención. La metodología consiste en una revisión bibliográfica de estudios recientes, priorizando publicaciones de 2020 a 2024, que abordan la intersección entre telemedicina, salud mental y urbanismo. Los principales resultados indican que la telemedicina amplía el acceso a los cuidados, pero enfrenta barreras como la resistencia profesional y la necesidad de políticas públicas adecuadas. Se concluye que, para maximizar los beneficios, es crucial implementar un marco regulatorio robusto y promover la inclusión digital.
