This article aims to foster debate on feminism, considering the current situation: difficult times, but times of incessant struggle for women, which have historically been marked by an avalanche of exclusion, difficulties, and intense challenges. We live in an era marked by the neoliberal capitalist system, which often further asserts the conditions of gender equality in all aspects and senses. Thus, through bibliographic research, from a hermeneutic-dialectical perspective, we address the anthological trajectory of feminism in Brazil, especially regarding the pursuit of gender equality; feminism in the neoliberal space-time, denunciations of an oppressive system; in school education, feminism as a necessary dialogue; and finally, announcements emerging from the historical struggles of Brazilian feminists and their supporters.
