GAMIFICATION AND DIGITAL TECHNOLOGIES AS STRATEGIES FOR ACTIVE METHODOLOGIES

This text explores the use of gamification and digital resources as teaching methods within active learning approaches, highlighting their contributions to innovation in teaching and learning processes. It starts from the idea that current education requires actions that promote student leadership, active engagement, and the meaningful construction of knowledge. Gamification, by including playful aspects in the school environment, stimulates motivation, participation, and the improvement of cognitive and emotional skills. Digital technologies, on the other hand, act as facilitators of learning, expanding interaction options, personalizing teaching, and fostering collaboration in learning. The research indicates that the combination of these approaches enhances active methodologies, provided it is supported by careful pedagogical planning and continuous teacher training. The study concludes that the synergy between gamification, digital resources, and active methodologies represents a promising path for the development of more inclusive and dynamic educational practices that meet the educational needs of the 21st century.
