DEMOCRATIC AND PARTICIPATORY SCHOOL MANAGEMENT

Abstract

This article aims to highlight the mechanisms of democratic management, emphasizing aspects such as participation, school boards, directors election, decentralization of decision making and school autonomy. In this perspective will you present the main contributions of each aspect of the possible implementation of democracy at school in particular, the possibility of democratic exercise for all involved with the educational process, the effects of which are able to achieve larger, providing the construction of a democratic and participatory management in schools and in society. Thus, it is clear that the management is not enough to just be democratic, it must be participatory.
