Abstract

The advance of digital technologies has significantly transformed various areas of society, including education. This article explores how digital tools are being used by elementary school educators, with a particular focus on their impact on the teaching-learning process. The research analyzes the integration of technology in the classroom and the essential role it plays in educating students in a digitally connected age. It also addresses the challenges faced by educators in incorporating these tools and the strategies adopted to overcome these barriers. The study is based on a comprehensive review of current literature and empirical research carried out with elementary school teachers, revealing that, despite the difficulties, the appropriate use of digital technologies can enrich the educational environment and promote more interactive and effective learning. The results highlight the importance of continuous teacher training and the technological adequacy of institutions in order to maximize the benefits of digital innovations in the educational context.
