DA FILOSOFIA MORAL À PRÁTICA ORGANIZACIONAL: FUNDAMENTOS DA LIDERANÇA ÉTICA

Resumo

O artigo tem como objetivo analisar a liderança ética como um paradigma emergente na gestão contemporânea, a partir de uma revisão bibliográfica que articula fundamentos clássicos da filosofia moral, abordagens contemporâneas de ética aplicada e pesquisas recentes em gestão organizacional. Foi realizada uma revisão de literatura, com base em livros clássicos de filosofia (Aristóteles, Kant, Bentham, Mill), autores contemporâneos (Bauman, Cortina, Apel) e estudos empíricos recentes publicados em bases acadêmicas internacionais. A análise concentrou-se em três eixos: fundamentos da ética, ética no contexto laboral e interseção entre ética e liderança. A revisão indica que a liderança ética distingue-se de outros modelos por colocar a moralidade no centro do processo de influência. Verificou-se que líderes éticos promovem confiança, engajamento, inovação e sustentabilidade, enquanto líderes antiéticos contribuem para ambientes tóxicos, queda de desempenho e riscos institucionais. Foram identificados elementos práticos da liderança ética, como coerência entre discurso e ação, transparência, justiça e compromisso com o bem comum. Também se destacou a emergência da liderança republicana como vertente inovadora, conectando ética, participação cívica e responsabilidade social. Conclui-se que a liderança ética fortalece não apenas o desempenho organizacional, mas também a legitimidade social das instituições. O estudo sugere que os académicos desenvolvam mais estudos do género, e os profissionais tenham mais atenção ao uso do código de ética e de deontologia profissional para melhor desempenho das suas funções.
