DE LA FILOSOFÍA MORAL A LA PRÁCTICA ORGANIZACIONAL: FUNDAMENTOS DEL LIDERAZGO ÉTICO

El artículo tiene como objetivo analizar el liderazgo ético como un paradigma emergente en la gestión contemporánea, a partir de una revisión bibliográfica que articula fundamentos clásicos de la filosofía moral, enfoques contemporáneos de ética aplicada e investigaciones recientes en gestión organizacional. Se realizó una revisión de la literatura, basada en obras clásicas de filosofía (Aristóteles, Kant, Bentham, Mill), autores contemporáneos (Bauman, Cortina, Apel) y estudios empíricos recientes publicados en bases académicas internacionales. El análisis se centró en tres ejes: fundamentos de la ética, ética en el contexto laboral e intersección entre ética y liderazgo. La revisión indica que el liderazgo ético se distingue de otros modelos al situar la moralidad en el centro del proceso de influencia. Se constató que los líderes éticos promueven confianza, compromiso, innovación y sostenibilidad, mientras que los líderes antiéticos contribuyen a ambientes tóxicos, bajo rendimiento y riesgos institucionales. Se identificaron elementos prácticos del liderazgo ético, como coherencia entre discurso y acción, transparencia, justicia y compromiso con el bien común. Asimismo, se destacó la emergencia del liderazgo republicano como una vertiente innovadora, que conecta ética, participación cívica y responsabilidad social. Se concluye que el liderazgo ético fortalece no solo el desempeño organizacional, sino también la legitimidad social de las instituciones. El estudio sugiere que los académicos desarrollen más investigaciones de este tipo y que los profesionales presten mayor atención al uso del código de ética y deontología profesional para un mejor desempeño de sus funciones.
