This study focuses on environmental education and pedagogical practice in the context of Brazilian public schools in basic education, approaching the topic from the perspective of environmental education within the school context. This research aims to analyze pedagogical practices in the field of environmental education in Brazilian public schools, presenting their contradictions and mediations, based on existing academic works on the subject. This study seeks to answer the question: What pedagogical practices have been implemented as a formative strategy for students in the context of Brazilian public schools in the field of Environmental Education in the Marajoara Amazon region? It is justified by its importance and pedagogical relevance in the debate on environmental education in the context of school pedagogical practices, due to the significant contributions that the research provides to the academic community and the school environment, providing new knowledge and new perspectives on pedagogical practice involving environmental education in students' learning spaces, influencing the construction of learning among students and the practices of educators in Brazilian public education.
