This article aimed to analyze the role of schools in preventing violence and promoting a culture of peace, through a bibliographical investigation based on academic productions published between 2015 and 2025. The research addressed the potential of the school environment as a space for conflict mediation, curricular reorganization, and teacher training guided by ethical and democratic values. The methodology consisted of selecting and analyzing scientific articles indexed in Google Scholar, using simple and specific keywords. The results indicated that the inclusion of a culture of peace in the daily school routine contributes significantly to strengthening healthy interpersonal relationships and mitigating violent practices. It was found that conflict mediation, curricular reformulation, and ongoing teacher training are effective strategies for building a more just and inclusive school. It is concluded that the institutional commitment to a culture of peace must be permanent and articulated with the principles of democratic coexistence and human rights.
