Abstract

This article presents some considerations about teaching development and learning from two research instruments: the Model Of Four Phases Of The Development Of Interest (MDI) and the Teaching-Learning Focuses (FAD). They collaborated for these academic studies, attending mathematics degrees and participating in the pedagogical residence program (PRP) of a public university of the state of Paraná, Brazil. Narrative interviews were conducted, which constituted the corpus of the research, which, in turn, were examined in the light of the referential of the discursive textual analysis. After analyzing and reflecting on the data, elements were identified that indicate that the interest of the research participants by teaching can be developed in the context of prp. There was evidence of learning teaching practices, and it was observed that participants already identified with the teaching profession. It was also possible to propose a generalization of the development model of interest in teaching for all undergraduate courses.
