AD is a frequent complication in spinal cord injury (SCI), characterized as a sudden-onset, potentially fatal, acute neurogenic hypertensive emergency, underdiagnosed in non-specialized clinical settings (1,2,3,4,6,7,8). Studies reveal a predictable pathophysiological behavior underexplored for preventive strategies. Reinterpreting the phenomenon from an applied perspective is necessary.
