THE ROLE OF SCHOOL IN THE CONSTRUCTION OF MASCULINITIES: CONFRONTING REDPILL CULTURE AND PREVENTING VIOLENCE AGAINST WOMEN IN THE SCHOOL ENVIRONMENT

This study analyzes the role of school in the construction of masculinities and its relationship with the perpetuation or prevention of violence against women in the school environment. The research, of exploratory bibliographic nature, examines how school socialization processes reproduce hegemonic masculinities that legitimize gender violence, particularly through the penetration of redpill culture in educational contexts. The investigation reveals that school does not function as a neutral space, but as an institution that activates and reproduces specific forms of being male linked to domination and aggressiveness. The results indicate that violence against girls manifests itself in multiple forms often rendered invisible by the school institution, and that the intersection between gender violence and other discriminations amplifies vulnerabilities of specific groups. The study concludes that the prevention of violence against women in the school environment requires profound transformation of curricula, pedagogical practices and institutional culture, allowing the construction of alternative masculinities that do not depend on domination. The research contributes to critical understanding of how education can function as a tool for social transformation, freeing boys and girls from power structures that harm their complete humanity.
