APPLYING THE PMI® TALENT TRIANGLE AS AN ANALYTICAL FRAMEWORK FOR AN ACADEMIC GOVERNANCE PROJECT: BOTLAB SENAC SP

The consolidation of IT governance in academic environments presents increasing challenges due to operational complexity, user turnover, and critical shared assets. This study investigates the application of the Project Management Institute (PMI,2024) Talent Triangle as an analytical framework in a Scientific Initiation project aimed at evaluating the applicability of an IT governance model at BotLab, an automation laboratory at Centro Universitário Senac. The research adopts a qualitative, exploratory, and applied approach, combining documentary analysis, literature review, and maturity assessment based on COBIT 2019 and corporate governance principles. Results indicate that integrating Ways of Working, Power Skills, and Business Acumen enhanced methodological rigor, institutional legitimacy of recommendations, and the structuring of a phased implementation roadmap. The study suggests that the Project Management Institute (PMI,2024) Talent Triangle can be interpreted not only as a professional development model but also as an organizational meta-framework capable of structuring governance interventions in academic settings.
