This research investigates music as a potential stimulus for attention and flow, justified by the importance of this relationship for auditory stimulation due to neuromodulation. Aiming to analyze the description of the continuous sensation of pleasure experienced during the journey of performing certain activities, the article addresses neurophysiological issues such as the release of dopamine and norepinephrine, and the prioritization of the task itself. The topic stems from the researchers' personal interest, as it integrates their research (master's dissertations) and forms part of the foundation of the Music Flow Method (MFM) project. To predict the applicability of music for modulating emotions, it is necessary to involve some concepts, such as the nine conditions of flow, the autotelic experience, positive and meaningful emotions, well-being, and life satisfaction. As methodological procedures, a bibliographic review with a systematic review was chosen. The results are partial and purely theoretical at this time; in the future, the intention is to obtain validation of the MFM through neurofeedback devices. To further analyze the aforementioned conceptual relationship, we sought reflection on these issues in the works of Goffman (2004), Minayo (2000), and Seligman (2019), among other authors connected to the topic, using their understanding to link the approach and theoretical discussions.
