Abstract

DRESS (Drug Reaction with Eosinophilia and Systemic Symptoms) and Stevens-Johnson Syndrome (SJS) are severe cutaneous adverse drug reactions associated with high morbidity and mortality. Although both conditions share immune-mediated mechanisms, they differ in pathophysiology, latency, organ involvement, and prognosis. This narrative review aims to compare clinical, laboratory, pathophysiological, and therapeutic aspects of these syndromes, providing guidance for differential diagnosis and appropriate clinical management.
