SÍNDROME DE DRESS Y SÍNDROME DE STEVENS-JOHNSON: ASPECTOS CLÍNICOS, FISIOPATOLÓGICOS Y TERAPÉUTICOS EN UNA REVISIÓN NARRATIVA COMPARATIVA

La reacción medicamentosa con eosinofilia y síntomas sistémicos (DRESS) y el síndrome de Stevens-Johnson (SJS) son reacciones cutáneas graves inducidas por fármacos, con un riesgo significativo de morbilidad y mortalidad. Ambos comparten algunos mecanismos inmunológicos, pero difieren en su fisiopatología, periodo de latencia, patrón de afectación orgánica y pronóstico. Esta revisión narrativa compara los aspectos clínicos, de laboratorio, fisiopatológicos y terapéuticos de estos síndromes, proporcionando información para el diagnóstico diferencial y el manejo clínico adecuado.
