Abstract

The present work aims to carry out an analysis of the incorporation of new technologies in the judicial process from the perspective of increasing efficiency and improving access to justice. In this sense, advances in ICT and Artificial Intelligence, as well as automation systems, are responsible for modifying various aspects of the judicial process, from case management to decision-making, thus generating a large number of useful tools for the process. that influence the rights that must be respected throughout the process, initially, we take into consideration the right to access to justice, the right to literate assistance and the right to an independent and impartial judge. These innovations allow the automation of bureaucratic tasks, significantly reducing the time and resources needed to manage these processes. Furthermore, minimizing human errors and ensuring more accurate and detailed analysis of large volumes of data. Digitization facilitates access to legal services, making justice more accessible, especially for individuals in remote areas or with few resources, however, it is essential that the implementation of these technologies is carried out in an ethical and responsible manner, ensuring the protection of fundamental rights and the integrity of the judicial process. In summary, technology is playing a crucial role in modernizing the judicial system, promoting greater efficiency, accuracy and accessibility to judicial processes, while also addressing significant challenges that need to be included as an enhancement of judicial protection to ensure that the benefits outweigh the potential problems.
