Abstract

This article examines the concept of Education 5.0 as an alternative to traditional educational models, emphasizing its ability to integrate technological innovation, humanized teaching, and the development of socio-emotional skills. It starts from the understanding that merely incorporating technology is not enough to transform education if it is not accompanied by ethical values, empathy, and a sense of collectivity. Throughout the analysis, the study discusses how Education 5.0 breaks with a fragmented, content-driven logic by proposing flexible curricula, active methodologies, holistic development, and pedagogical practices aligned with contemporary challenges. It also addresses structural obstacles such as digital access inequality, teacher workload, and the lack of consistent public policies. The results of the analysis reveal that, despite limitations, there are promising experiences that demonstrate the feasibility of a more inclusive, critical, collaborative school model aimed at shaping autonomous and socially responsible individuals.
