This study aimed to analyze the perspectives of education professionals on the fundamental guarantees of the right to education for children in Brazil. The research, of a descriptive nature and qualitative approach, was conducted with a sample of 15 education professionals, including teachers, pedagogical coordinators and social workers working in the public education system. Through semi-structured interviews, the aim was to understand how these professionals perceive educational policies, institutional challenges and mechanisms for protecting children's rights in the school context. The results showed the existence of significant gaps in the implementation of the right to education, especially with regard to infrastructure, teacher training and intersectoral coordination with other public policies. Reports pointed to practical difficulties in guaranteeing access, permanence and quality of education. It is concluded that, although the right to education is constitutionally guaranteed, its full realization depends on integrated public policies, adequate funding and the appreciation of education professionals.
