This article aims to debate the difficulties of the teaching role in the face of the current curriculum, provoking a discussion about the increase in socio-emotional problems of students and teachers, analyzing the impacts of reducing the workload of some curricular components to be developed concomitantly with school programmes and projects institutions, in addition to all the programmatic contents established in the curriculum for each grade of high school.
