Resumen

Experiencias de naturaleza, experiencias medioambientales, baños de bosque, contacto multisensorial en entornos verdes: la conexión entre el ser humano y el entorno natural ha sido objeto cada vez más frecuente de estudios científicos y apunta a numerosos reflejos en la vida humana. El objetivo de este artículo es identificar los beneficios del contacto con la naturaleza para la experiencia de la salud humana. El método es la investigación bibliográfica en la base de datos SciELO. Los resultados indican que la naturaleza es terapéutica porque ofrece un estado de bienestar mental, salud cardiovascular, mejora la calidad de la respiración, promueve la creatividad y la concentración, tiene impacto en la calidad de vida en el trabajo, ofrece momentos de conexión espiritual y percepción del sentido de la vida, afecta positivamente a las interacciones sociales, predispone a la adopción de prácticas sostenibles y a la vivencia de una educación ambiental sensible.
