Resumen

La rehabilitación oral en pacientes desdentados resulta un desafío debido a la ausencia estructural inherente al proceso fisiológico de la exodoncia. Además, se han desarrollado técnicas no convencionales que han permitido la implementación de un protocolo basado en procedimientos implantosoportados. Por ello, el objetivo de este reporte de caso es explicar el protocolo quirúrgico con implantes anclados mediante las técnicas transnasal y convencional. La metodología demostró ser eficaz para restablecer la función masticatoria y eliminar la sintomatología.
