EL PAPEL DE LA TERAPIA DIALÉCTICA CONDUCTUAL EN LA REGULACIÓN EMOCIONAL DE PACIENTES CON TRASTORNO LÍMITE DE LA PERSONALIDAD

El trastorno límite de la personalidad (TLP) se caracteriza por una desregulación emocional e impulsividad significativas, lo que representa un desafío clínico considerable. Esta revisión sistemática tuvo como objetivo analizar la evidencia científica sobre la efectividad de la terapia dialéctica conductual (TDC) en la regulación emocional de pacientes con TLP. Se seleccionaron y analizaron ocho artículos publicados entre 2020 y 2024, siguiendo el protocolo PRISMA. Los resultados indican que la TDC promueve mejoras significativas en la regulación emocional mediante mecanismos como el entrenamiento en atención plena, la tolerancia al malestar y la reestructuración cognitiva. La regulación emocional demostró ser un requisito fundamental para las intervenciones posteriores con recuerdos traumáticos. Se concluye que la TDC constituye una intervención efectiva para la regulación emocional en el TLP, si bien su implementación en el contexto brasileño enfrenta desafíos relacionados con la formación profesional y las adaptaciones culturales.
