Paracoccidioidomycosis is a systemic and endemic mycosis caused, in most cases, by Paracoccidioides brasiliensis. It has a high prevalence in Latin America, in humid regions, mainly in Brazil. Studies show an increasing incidence of this infection in different states, as well as a significant fatality rate that represents 50% of all deaths due to fungal diseases in the country. OBJECTIVES: To conduct a case study on a patient diagnosed with Paracoccidioidomycosis with predominantly cutaneous involvement, to analyze the treatments instituted and their respective results. METHODOLOGY: This is a descriptive case report study. The patient's data were collected and her medical records analyzed during hospitalization, as well as the evaluation of laboratory and imaging tests performed. Therefore, the results obtained will be correlated with the existing literature, in order to obtain a comparative analysis with the other cases already described.
