The incorporation of digital technologies in elementary education represents a process of reinventing the school environment in response to the demands of an increasingly connected society. In the Brazilian context, understanding how digital technological innovation can serve as a foundation for more inclusive and collaborative pedagogical practices is essential to addressing contemporary educational challenges. This study aims to analyze how digital technological innovation serves as a foundation for transforming the school experience in elementary education, focusing on its impacts and challenges for students and teachers. A bibliographic and documentary research methodology was adopted, based on the analysis of scientific articles indexed in specialized databases that discuss the main dilemmas and potentialities of integrating digital tools into schools. The results show that the critical use of digital technologies expands engagement opportunities, diversifies methodologies, and demands investment in teacher training and infrastructure. It is concluded that further research is needed to deepen the analysis of innovative practices and the institutional conditions for consolidating the connected school.
