Abstract

This article explores the impact of technological advancement in the Amazon region, especially with the evolution of mobile data via satellite. The increasing connectivity has strengthened areas such as education, access to government information, use of digital banking, social networks, and the introduction of computer science in schools. With the arrival of more accessible and comprehensive technologies, previously isolated communities have gained new opportunities for communication, learning, and social integration. This study highlights how technology can overcome regional barriers, promote social inclusion, and drive sustainable development in the Amazon. A qualitative methodology was used, analyzing case studies, public policies, local experiences, and specific technological advancements in recent years. The results indicate growing digital integration, although structural and socioeconomic challenges persist, such as lack of infrastructure, high costs, and a shortage of technical training. It is concluded that the advancement of satellite connectivity can positively transform the reality of the Amazon, significantly contributing to educational, social, and economic progress.
