The work was developed within the theme of International Humanitarian Law (IHL). The research was based on several renowned authors and articles published online. The objective of the article is to present, within the current context, the applicability of the Law of International Armed Conflict (LAC) to suspected use of force and abuses by Israel. The definitions of human dignity were briefly addressed, based on the increase in human protection over the years, and the historical evolution of international humanitarian law and the law of international armed conflict. The origins of the State of Israel (1948) and especially the Six-Day War (1967) were explained, as well as their relationship with International Humanitarian Law and LAC. IHL/LAC were related to the emergence of violations and abuses, with a particular emphasis on the Six-Day War.
