Restoring the Vertical Dimension of Occlusion (VOD) represents one of the greatest challenges in rehabilitative dentistry, as occlusal disorders affect not only masticatory function but also the patient's aesthetic and psychosocial aspects. This study, conducted at a teaching clinic at the Federal University of Pará (UFPA), affiliated with the Unified Health System (SUS), aimed to report a clinical case of VOD restoration using affordable materials, such as composite resin and removable prostheses. The study concluded that the use of low-cost materials, combined with a conservative and integrated approach, can be effective in restoring VOD without compromising the functional and aesthetic quality of the treatment.
