Abstract

This article investigates, from an interdisciplinary perspective, the interface between Nursing and Linguistics in the context of therapeutic care. Language, as a tool of care, transcends the technical act of nursing by establishing humanized communication, centered on the individual and their emotional needs. The research, qualitative and exploratory in nature, is based on a literature review and analysis of discursive practices in the hospital environment. It concludes that the conscious use of language in care significantly contributes to the therapeutic bond, promoting comfort, active listening, and a re-signification of pain. Interdisciplinarity proves essential to broaden the understanding of care as an ethical, aesthetic, and affective practice.
