The aim of this study was to describe a clinical case of single-session endodontic retreatment of the lower right molar. A 41-year-old patient reported pain during chewing and vertical percussion during anamnesis. Radiographically, the presence of filling material and diffuse periapical bone radiolucency were observed, suggesting a diagnosis of chronic apical periodontitis in the tooth. Root canal retreatment was proposed to the patient, and informed consent was obtained before treatment began. After anesthesia, the coronal opening was performed in an appropriate manner. Gutta-percha was removed with the Prodsign Logic RT #25.08 system. Electronic foraminal odontometry was performed with the locator. Foraminal debridement was performed with a Solla collors 16.02 instrument to the actual length of the tooth. Next, the root canals were prepared using the Solla Collors wide #60.03 system in the four root canals at the actual working length. The root canal system was filled using the single cone technique, combined with BIO-C Sealer cement. It was concluded that the retreatment performed with Solla Collors wide #60.03 files resulted in excellent repreparation of the root canals.
