ETHICAL RESPONSIBILITY IN THE DEVELOPMENT OF DIGITAL INSTRUCTIONAL MATERIALS

This study investigated the ethical challenges in developing digital instructional materials within the scope of Instructional Design (ID), focusing on creating meaningful and inclusive learning experiences. The central issue was identifying the main ethical barriers faced by educators and developers when integrating Information and Communication Technologies (ICTs) into the educational process. The general objective was to analyze the ethical implications of using technologies in ID, considering aspects such as privacy, inclusion, and representation. The research was bibliographical, analyzing academic works on the topic. The development addressed the fundamentals of Instructional Design, the creation of learning experiences using ICTs, and the ethical challenges arising from the use of digital technologies, such as data protection and accessibility. In the final considerations, it was concluded that the main ethical challenges involve the need to ensure fair and accessible teaching, respecting students' rights and promoting inclusion. The study also highlighted the need for further research on how to implement clear ethical guidelines in the use of ICTs in education, aiming to create a more equitable educational environment.
