Abstract

Considering the significant growth in the population of breast cancer survivors and the inherent challenges of the survivorship phase, this study presents a technological prospecting through a patent review in the Brazilian National Institute of Industrial Property (INPI) database, aiming to map the state of the art of solutions focused on Lifestyle Medicine (LM) applied to longitudinal care. The structured search using combined descriptors did not identify patent filings that directly integrated these terms, highlighting a technological gap. The analysis of 13 identified applications related to “breast cancer” revealed a concentration of diagnostic technologies based on artificial intelligence, with a lack of integrated digital solutions incorporating structured behavioral interventions. The proposed approach demonstrates a high potential for inventive activity by integrating multiple pillars of Lifestyle Medicine into a longitudinal, physician-led care model centered on behavioral change and continuous patient engagement, representing a relevant innovation within the national technological landscape.
