NOW YOU SEE ME 3: ILLUSIONISM, MINING LAW, AND THE GEOPOLITICS OF DIAMONDS IN THE CONTEMPORARY ERA

This research investigates the intersection of Mining Law, Cinema, and Literature, utilizing the Now You See Me 3 franchise as an analytical lens to examine the complex mechanisms of global diamond mining. The significance of this study lies in the urgent need to address the opacity of the mineral sector, where artistic illusionism serves as a metaphor for asset concealment and the challenges of institutional transparency. Methodologically, the study is grounded in an interdisciplinary and comparative approach, bridging classical legal doctrine with cutting-edge technological analysis. The findings indicate that overcoming "normative prestidigitation" requires proactive governance anchored in Industry 4.0 technologies and algorithmic traceability. It is demonstrated that Law must function as an instrument of demystification, ensuring that the exploitation of finite resources translates into social justice and sustainability. The paper concludes by proposing that genuine transparency is the only effective antidote to the stigma of blood diamonds, ensuring that mineral brilliance reflects state integrity and the protection of human rights.
