EDUCATIONAL PRACTICES IN ENVIRONMENTAL EDUCATION IN EARLY CHILDHOOD EDUCATION: AN EXPERIENCE REPORT

This experience report presents educational environmental practices developed with children from Infant Group 1 at CMEI Arlindo de Campos, in Toledo, Paraná, Brazil. The activities included playful experiences such as seedling planting, garden care, material reuse, toy construction with recyclable materials, cardboard box play, and dengue prevention actions. Participant observations, photographic records, and questionnaires applied to families indicated that these practices supported the children's holistic development, enhanced environmental awareness, and strengthened affective bonds with nature. The study highlights the importance of integrating environmental education and playfulness from early childhood, promoting citizenship and sustainability.
