This article is based on bibliographical research and aims to investigate the use of collaborative tools in education. For the theoretical basis of the research we will approach the authors: Kenski (2012), Pereira (2022), Santos (2021), Silva & Pereira (2019). Collaborative tools such as Google Docs, Padlet, Zoom and Trello are essential for creating more dynamic and interactive learning environments, promoting communication and cooperation between students. These technologies facilitate both hybrid and remote learning, allowing students and teachers to stay connected and engaged. The analysis highlights that these tools not only enrich the teaching-learning process, but also develop essential skills such as effective communication, teamwork and organization. In addition, they promote more active, student- centered learning, encouraging a more proactive role in education. This results in increased student engagement and motivation, enabling them to develop critical thinking and solve problems collaboratively. Teacher training also plays a key role in the use of collaborative tools in education, since it is the teacher who mediates the process between students. This study concludes that the implementation of these technologies and teacher training is crucial to preparing students for the challenges of the 21st century, improving educational outcomes and contributing to the formation of better citizens.
