This study describes the preparation of a mandibular molar canal with complex anatomy using a Solla Purple file in a single session. A 21-year-old male patient with no history of systemic diseases sought a private practice for root canal treatment on the 47th tooth. Clinically, there was deep caries and a negative response to the pulp sensitivity test and a circumscribed periapical lesion involving both roots. After anesthesia, the coronal opening and exploration of the root canal were performed. The canal preparation was performed with a Solla Purple file 35/04 in the mesial canals and a Solla Collors file 50.05 in the distal canal. Foraminal patency was achieved with a Solla Purple Glidepath file 15.04, one millimeter beyond the apical foramen. The obturation of the canal system was performed using the single cone technique, associated with Bio C Sealer cement. It is concluded that the success of the endodontic therapy was achieved with adequate modeling with a rotary system.
