This bibliometric research maps the scientific production on sustainable educational spaces and environmentalization in the context of early childhood education. Thus, the research question was: what do strictu sensu research reveal about sustainable educational spaces and environmentalization in early childhood education? To select the productions, the search string presented in table 1 was used. The analysis highlights that there was more academic production in 2019. However, it was observed that there was no doctoral-level research on the subject, as well as that all the selected scientific production was Brazilian national production. It is worth noting that these studies can help in understanding the processes necessary in the transition of early childhood education schools into sustainable educational spaces through environmentalization, as well as different actions, practices and reflections that can be adopted by teachers and early childhood education schools to integrate environmental education.
