Abstract

Contemporary technological transformations are profoundly reshaping the landscape of labor relations, directly impacting human resource management strategies and functions. The advancement of tools such as artificial intelligence, automation, data analytics, and digital platforms has been creating new forms of organizational performance, requiring HR professionals to adopt a strategic approach focused on adaptation and innovation. Projections for the next decade indicate that digital skills, critical thinking, and the ability to integrate human-machine interaction will be central elements for business competitiveness, while reskilling and continuous learning are consolidated as pillars for employment sustainability. In addition to influencing practices such as recruitment, training, and development, emerging technologies are shaping new formats of professional engagement, fostering hybrid and remote models, while also generating challenges related to inclusion, diversity, and ethics in data use. This study analyzes these transformations from the perspective of Brazilian organizations, exploring trends, challenges, and opportunities for HR over the next 10 years, based on consolidated theoretical frameworks and evidence from national and international studies. With a qualitative and exploratory approach, the research seeks to provide managers and leaders with insights into the implications of these changes, contributing to the development of more innovative, inclusive, and future-oriented people management policies.
