Abstract

The objective of this study was to analyze the perceptions of remote classes among young people who enrolled in the Administration Course at the Amazonas State University (UEA), in Brazil, during the Covid-19 pandemic. The qualitative approach, using interviews, emphasized aspects related to Emergency Remote Education (ERE) and the teaching-learning process. The sample included twenty-three (23) young people who started the course during the pandemic. The data were processed through content analysis and the main results, regarding ERE, indicated that the internet service, for the majority, was not adequate to follow the classes; on the other hand, the lack of transportation and saving resources were seen as advantages. Regarding the teaching-learning process, the didactics used and the lack of technological skills by the teaching staff at that time were highlighted. Finally, in times of crisis and remote classes, teamwork should be maintained, as it encourages greater socialization among students.
