Abstract

The learning of reading and writing has gone through several processes, therefore, the one who was literate, need to make use of acquired skills and competences, implement the practice in events not only in the classroom but also outside. The key point for the individual to enter the literate society, is to know not only decode the messages, but use them when and where needed. In this broad development of effective literacy, we call literacy, which is inseparable from literacy and thus we can think of a more complete literacy. Given this design, aimed to highlight the importance of literacy from the perspective of literacy, that is, a literacy that glimpse into the social character of the practice of reading and writing without the dissociation of the two. Within the methodology, we opted for a exploratory research on the objectives for the collection procedures, the literature was used to compose the work, searching for information in previous studies. It was noted that the school teachers are keys to the success of education of students, since there is the need to compromise in relation to that teaching, as is taught and is taught. The ratio literacy / literacy the most advantageous option for the individual to enter the literate world. We consider, therefore, that before all these findings, it is explicit the importance and need for change of course, look. Add to literacy practices literacy phenomenon may be a very effective way to contemplate the man in many aspects of your life, especially in their social life in its various areas. It is very broad this field of study and never exhaust the need for further analysis. So is it opens the possibility of a new window, continuing the work.
