Abstract

Integrative and Complementary Practices (ICPs) have increasingly gained recognition as strategies for health promotion and comprehensive care. This article presents an experience report on the application of foot reflexology by medical students during an elective course. The practice aimed to promote relaxation, reduce stress, relieve mild pain, and broaden students’ understanding of integrative therapeutic approaches. Participants reported subjective benefits such as a sense of well-being, reduced tension, and improvement of discomfort. The results reinforce the relevance of ICPs in medical education and in students’ self-care.
