Abstract

The advancement of artificial intelligence has been redefining educational practices in Brazil, especially through the work of startups developing technology-based learning solutions. This article discusses how these emerging companies have been using AI to promote social impact and achieve scalability in their operations. It is observed that personalized learning, teacher support and real-time performance monitoring are among the main features offered by the analyzed platforms. These innovations have contributed to reducing educational inequalities, expanding access to knowledge and strengthening the connection between schools, teachers and communities. Furthermore, it is evident that the scalability of such solutions is linked to factors such as technological flexibility, usability, institutional partnerships and the ability to adapt to the country’s diverse educational contexts. At the same time, challenges such as connectivity, regulation and teacher training still limit the widespread adoption of these technologies. Startups that combine innovation, impact and social responsibility show greater potential to transform the Brazilian educational system, contributing to a more inclusive, effective and responsive school model.
