The proposal to use artificial intelligence (AI) in the design of adaptive curricula emerges as a relevant innovation that meets the contemporary demands of personalization in education. The choice of the theme is justified by the growing need for methodologies that promote individualized learning trajectories, aiming at engagement and learning effectiveness. The main objective of the study is to investigate how AI can assist in the creation of adaptive curricula, providing a more customized educational experience. To this end, the methodology employs a bibliographic approach, analyzing the existing literature on the use of AI in education and its implications. The main results indicate that the application of intelligent algorithms allows the collection and analysis of data on student behaviors, preferences, and performances, enabling dynamic adaptations that meet the diverse needs of the student public. The most relevant conclusions suggest that, although the integration of AI in this area brings significant innovations, ethical and transparency challenges also arise that require careful consideration. The responsible use of AI is not limited to technical efficiency, but also relates to the promotion of an inclusive and equitable educational environment. Therefore, the research shows that the incorporation of AI into the design of adaptive curricula not only reimagines education, but also shapes citizens prepared for a changing future, highlighting the importance of a broad debate on its social and pedagogical implications.
