Abstract

Artificial Intelligence (AI) has become central to contemporary organizational transformations, delivering efficiency gains but also raising ethical, cultural, and social challenges. This article, based on a narrative and integrative bibliographic review, analyzes national and international research on the relationship between automation and organizational humanization. The review shows that the way AI is implemented directly affects employees’ engagement, trust, and well-being, and can either reinforce collaboration or foster insecurity and resistance. Practices such as professional reskilling, transparent communication, wellness programs, and algorithmic governance emerge as key strategies to balance technological innovation and human centrality. The study concludes that organizational humanization in the AI era does not arise automatically from technology but results from deliberate choices in management, culture, and regulation.
