EVALUATION OF THE EFFICIENCY OF DRIP IRRIGATION IN PINEAPPLE CULTIVATION WITH DIFFERENT BLADES IN THE INITIAL STAGE, IN THE MUNICIPALITY OF SÃO MIGUEL DO GUAPORÉ-RO

This study aimed to evaluate the initial development of pineapple under different drip irrigation depths, in order to identify the most efficient management for the vegetative growth of the crop. The experiment was carried out from July to November 2025 in an experimental area located in São Miguel do Guaporé – RO, using a completely randomized design (CRD) with five treatments and six replications. The variables analyzed were plant height, stem diameter, and number of leaves. Data were subjected to analysis of variance (ANOVA) and Tukey’s test at a 5% probability level, using Python software. The results showed that Treatment 3 (T3) presented the highest mean values for plant height and stem diameter, while Treatment 4 (T4) stood out for the number of leaves, indicating better vegetative development. It is concluded that different irrigation depths significantly influence the growth of pineapple plants, and that proper water management is essential to obtain more vigorous and productive crops.
